Having grown up in the country nearest the tiny town of Farming, MN, west of St. Cloud, Jennifer knows all about small town living. After a few years in the Brainerd Lakes area, Jennifer made her way to Minneapolis and now finds herself equally comfortable in the big city.
Since her days as a theatre major at the College of St. Benedict, Jennifer has worked in commercials, industrials, television and feature film.
Being involved in distinctly Minnesotan activities has always been a part of Jennifer’s life, including an annual Boundary Waters canoe trip with friends, a biannual getaway with her family in which they love to visit historical sites around the state and spending as much time as she can on lakes and at outdoor festivals and concerts.

“I believe I am a very good balance of small town and big city and I feel the same way about Minnesota!” Jennifer says, “The diversity, not only in seasons or demographic areas, but in activities, means there is always something new to explore! I am excited to bring light to all the lesser known gems in this amazing state, as well as the classics, on The Minnesota Traveler!”
